Discounted Qwest High-Speed Internet® Installation Fees!
Free self–installation. User receives Qwest High-Speed Internet modem, four filters for analog telephone jacks (more are available, if necessary), network cables and self-installation manual. Qwest modems have router capabilities and support static and dynamic IP addresses. Modems have one Ethernet and one USB port; some models also offer Wi-Fi capability, which may require additional computer equipment. Qwest High-Speed Internet self-installation is only recommended for customers who are comfortable connecting computer cables and installing simple computer programs. Qwest High-Speed Internet self-installation will take anywhere from 20-40 minutes to complete.
Professional Basic Installation is only $59.99. A trained broadband installation technician will come to your house to install your Qwest High-Speed Internet modem, hook it to your computer, and verify your internet connection. Qwest High-Speed Internet installation technicians can also network multiple computers correctly to ensure more than one person can access your Qwest High-Speed Internet at one time and set up a primary e-mail address.
Non-Qwest High-Speed Internet modems may or may not work on the Qwest network. Professional installation and technical support may not be available for users with non-Qwest modems. It is recommended that customers purchase a Qwest High-Speed Internet modem to ensure proper service.

- Windows Vista, Window XP, Windows 2000 SP2, Windows Millennium, or Windows 98. Qwest Connect does not support Macintosh computers at this time..

- 320 MB hard disk space available during installation and 180 MB of hard disk space after installation

Customers using Windows XP SP2 or higher will receive Windows Live, an enhanced suite of internet security and utility programs. Users with older operating systems will need to install MSN Premium Internet Software as their internet software suite.
